Job Description

Our client, Swatch Group Canada / Swatch Group Services, a company in the watchmaking industry, is seeking a Senior IT Manager – Enterprise Applications & SAP to lead and develop its Americas IT Hub.

Leading a team of 12 or more direct reports, you will oversee enterprise applications and digital solutions across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Your portfolio will include SAP ecosystems, retail systems, and e-commerce platforms, supporting Finance, Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Retail.

Reporting jointly to the Head of Group Applications and the Country Manager of Swatch Group Canada, you will play a central role in aligning technology priorities with business needs.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, and mentor a multidisciplinary IT team of 12 or more direct reports.
  • Develop the Americas IT Hub and strengthen its role as a strategic business partner.
  • Prioritize change requests and manage the regional project roadmap.
  • Oversee application support, incident management, releases, and regression testing.
  • Guide architectural decisions and promote pragmatic, standardized, sustainable, and cost-efficient solutions.
  • Foster collaboration between corporate teams in Switzerland, regional CFOs, brand headquarters, and regional business units.
  • Ensure service quality, alignment with Group standards, system security, data privacy, and appropriate segregation of access rights.


Candidate Profile

  • 10–15 years of IT experience, including demonstrated experience in people management and enterprise application delivery.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.
  • Strong architectural understanding of SAP and its FICO, SD, MM, and CS modules.
  • Knowledge of API and SAP BTP integrations, ABAP and Fiori development governance, Clean Core principles, and S/4HANA migration strategies.
  • Solid grounding in ITIL practices.
  • Strong leadership presence, business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to lead teams through change, manage complex priorities, and build trusted relationships.
  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • Experience in distribution, retail, or a comparable business environment is an asset.
  • Availability to work 100% on-site in Toronto.
